Hodgepodge Quilt with In From the Cold
Hi Makers! It’s Sara from Rose Hill Quilts reporting from Oxford, where my sewing studio looks like Santa’s Grotto. It’s Christmas in June!
The newest collection by Anka’s Treasures is called In From the Cold. It has a really fabulous wintery feel without being too Christmas-y. The palette is richly saturated in red, coral, teal and a warm navy blue, with some lovely coordinating low volumes in cream.
I used this collection to make the Hodgepodge quilt, a pattern by Modernly Morgan. It allowed me to showcase the prints from In From the Cold in this cheerful wintery quilt. The additional grasscloth cottons added extra texture to the palette. You can find all the coordinating grasscloth cotton basics in the storyboard for this collection.
