My Plans for “Sewing Your Oats”

Hello, Everyone! It’s Miriam from Stitch Obsessed. I’m so happy to be here and have the privilege to tell you about my personal plans for the GORGEOUS fabric collection “Sewing Your Oats” by Karen Walker. 

As soon as I saw this fabric, I knew I wanted to use it to create something for my mom. She loves living in the country, birds, and these gorgeous colors. Karen Walker did a phenomenal job creating this fabric collection.

When I sat down to plan out what I wanted to do with these lovely cuts of fabric, I pretty quickly decided that they would be a fantastic match with my newest pattern “In Bloom.” This pattern features the Weathervane quilt block, one of my favorites. Below is the sample quilt top I created to go with this pattern.

Wouldn’t this pattern look amazing with “Sewing Your Oats?!” I’m excited to create this project for my mom. I will probably make the baby size quilt for her to use as a table topper for her dining room table.
