Welcome to our New Designers!

You may have glimpsed some new things in our display at Quilt Market this year. It’s time for an official introduction! Today we are introducing you to three new designers & their debut collections coming next year! Please give them a follow and welcome them to the family! We hope you loved these collections as much as we do.

Kelsey Carlson has always loved art. At a young age she could always be found drawing or saving bits of paper and fabric to create things. She started Kelsey Carlson Art when her first baby was born in 2015, and has slowly been growing her design business ever since. Now with four kids keeping her busy, watercolor painting and creating pretty things is her happy place. In her spare time she loves listening to audiobooks, exercising, flower gardening, and going on adventures with her family. She’s drawn to pretty flowers, sunshine, travel and happy things.

Her debut collection with Riley Blake Designs ships February 2025.

Driven by a lifelong love of creating, Leslie Ryan, the designer behind Blooming Boldly Designs, began sewing as a child, piecing her first quilt soon after picking up a needle at age 11. She has always been drawn to the artistry, tranquility, and gift of quilting. For years, she’s dreamt of sharing her love and passion of quilting with the world. Inspired by her children, the beauty of nature, vintage quilts, and bold, colorful palettes, Leslie is following her heart, creating and sharing the beauty she sees in the world with others through her striking creations.

For endless inspiration, you can visit Leslie’s website & follow her on Instagram. Her debut collection arrives March 2025!

Double RITA® Finalist and award-winning author Patience Griffin has been writing and sewing her whole life but didn’t discover her love of quilting until her late thirties. It was no surprise to her family and friends when she combined her love of quilting, her small town roots, and her obsession with her Scottish heritage.

She has teamed up with Riley Blake for an extensive line of fabrics to accompany her novels and patterns. She has a master’s degree in nuclear engineering but spends her days writing stories about hearth and home, and dreaming about the fictional small towns of Gandiegow, Scotland and Sweet Home, Alaska. Her debut Expressions Batiks collection arrives May 2025.
