Holiday Bouquet Quilt featured in McCall's Quilting Magazine -

A few days ago I was brought to tears upon opening an email and seeing my quilt design gracing the cover of the Winter 2025 issue of McCall’s Quilting Magazine, Deck the Halls.

Hey there! It is Kelly Renay, (Kelly R. Kirkland), here and I am honored to share my featured quilt, Holiday Bouquet.

The Holiday Bouquet quilt design was inspired by cherished memories of Christmas time growing up. Two special memories to be exact; our annual family purchase of several poinsettia plants and a Christmas Day tradition of taking family pictures in front of my grandparents gorgeous holly tree.

To make the Holiday Bouquet design come to life, I selected solids from the Confetti Cottons: Riley Red, Super Pink, Emerald City, Christmas Green and Cloud.
