Making the Star Pop II Quilt with POParazzi

Hi friends! It’s Vickeidy of @sewspicious, and I’m so excited to share my very first project as an RBD Maker!

For this project, I used the stunning Star Pop II pattern by Emily Dennis of Quilty Love, featuring the gorgeous POParazzi 10” stacker bundle. The variety of colors in this bundle made it hard to choose, but I eventually settled on the brightest shades, setting aside the browns, whites, and blacks for another project. For the background, I used Confetti Cottons in Cloud. Its soft white tone really makes the bright colors of the stars pop beautifully!

The Star Pop II quilt pattern offers six different size options. I decided to make the square throw size (60” x 60”), which is just perfect for a cozy lap quilt. I’m so excited to gift this quilt to my husband’s grandmother for her birthday this year—I know she’s going to love it! ❤️

If you’d like to make your own version, you can find the Star Pop II quilt pattern on Emily’s website.
