Grab that panel you’ve been saving for a special project- and let’s get to it!

The Pockets

One of the best features of this apron (and what will have you reaching for it time and again) are the deeeeeep pockets.

Choose a contrasting print for the pocket backing.

Sew a pocket to each side of your 16″ x 16″ panel.

The Bib

Sewing pleats into your bib will help contour the apron to your body’s shape.

Put It All Together

With RST, you will sew your apron front to your apron lining- then turn right side out. If you pin it well and make sure all corners and pleats are lined up- it will lay perfectly flat so you can do the top stitching around the perimeter.

Love Me More Fabric Requirements

A little extra fabric is required when using directional prints- this has been factored into the list below. If you are NOT using directional fabrics, just follow the fabric requirements in the pattern.
