Peter Rabbit & Friends – How to Add Trim to a Quilt
Hello friends, it’s Amy from Ritual Quilt Company. Have you ever wondered how to add a little something extra to your quilt? I’m here to share how you can add some beautiful trim to your quilts without sacrificing durability.
I absolutely love the look of eyelet trim, and I came across one in my favorite warm pecan color. I purchased it on a whim, without a plan for what to do with it. Once I had the adorable new Peter Rabbit & Friends fabric in hand, I knew this trim would be the perfect match! I just had to figure out a way to attach the trim while still being able to bind the quilt as I usually do.

I used the Peter Rabbit & Friends fabrics to make a reversible crib size quilt. This seemed like a good size to experiment with adding some detail to. I am pleased with the results! If you would like to try this method for adding trim to your quilts, I’ve detailed the process I used below.
