Twilight Creatures Log Cabin Quilt

Hey, hey! It’s Sarah of Sarah Jean Makes and I’m excited to share a quick and fun make using the Twilight Creatures collection.

This collection includes a beautiful panel full of cute critters that can be kept as a whole or fussy cut down to smaller panels. I opted to cut them down and use them as centers for a classic log cabin block.

I paired the fussy cut center panels with the coordinating fabrics, light backgrounds with light fabrics, grading to dark fabrics, and dark backgrounds with dark fabrics grading to light fabrics.

Assembling the blocks in a checkerboard layout gave me a fun dynamic effect that gives so much movement and play to the quilt.

I loved working with this whimsical collection and monochromatic palette. It’s such a fun vibe!
