A Walk on the Prairie by Modern Prairie

I played around with scale here, mixing larger floral motifs with ditsy prints to create contrast in the wheat stalk. I would also love to try a modern twist with solids and create an ombre effect!

I was lucky enough to stay in the most beautiful Airbnb to capture Prairie Love in her ideal habitat (Cozy Lakefront Retreat on Last Mountain Lake). This peaceful cabin in the quiet resort village of Clearview, Saskatchewan was so picturesque, the perfect backdrop for my prairie inspired design. The lakefront view was icing on the cake.

Had it been a little less windy, I would have enjoyed all the fun stuff provided: paddle boards, kayaks and even a canoe! But I’ll tell you what I DID enjoy immensely… the wood burning SAUNA with views of the lake. Unbelievable.
