Press On – “Sewing on the Go” projects

Hi! Charise here from Charise Creates. I don’t know about you, but I love to have lots of bags and pouches for my “Sewing on the Go” projects.

With hand sewing projects in mind, I made two project bags with the new line of fabric from J Wecker Frisch – Press On. The fabric line includes some adorable vintage feed sack style iron themed prints and a gorgeous panel print.

My Iron Paper Pieced Block seemed like a perfect block for the Zakka Workshop “Carry Me Tube Frame Purse”.

I created a patchwork panel with some of my favorite prints for the handles.

Press On also offers a lovely vintage panel with some stunning prints. I chose two of my favorites to make this zippered tote. **This tote was based on my Basket Tote Pattern, but sized smaller to fit the Press On Panels.**
