Creating a Cozy Fade Quilt for Fall with Garden Dreams

Fall is my favorite season—the cool breeze, changing leaves, homemade pie, warm apple cider, and, of course, a new Fade quilt in autumn colors using the Garden Dreams collection by Amber Elliot.

Garden dreams features a mix of greens, purples, and oranges, blending florals, sprigs, and tiny beetles. It’s the perfect blend for creating this cozy Fade quilt for fall.

I wanted this Fade quilt to have a bit more weight and puffiness than my usual quilts, so I opted for low-loft polyester batting this time around. The Cone Flower Webs pantograph by Sew Shabby Quilting added just the right amount of texture to this quilt.
