Modern Wall Hanging with Fragrant Fields

Hi Friends. It’s Sandy from Thai Charm LLC. I’m super excited to share my latest project with you, featuring some amazing fabrics from Lila Tueller’s Fragrant Fields collection! If you’re thinking about sprucing up your space or diving into a new sewing project, these fabrics are just the thing. I chose to make Retro Blossom quilted wall hanging, a pattern by Brittany at Lo and Behold Stitchery. To let the bold prints shine, I also used Bee Cross Stitch in Pewter and Confetti Cotton in Peaches n Cream and Butterscotch. The pattern is great to master you curve piecing skills with plenty of trimming room, so you do not have to be scared to try.

For this project, I wanted to experiment with grid quilting using multiple thread colors to add extra depth and interest. Using different thread shades can also make each section pop and enhances the beautiful patterns in the Fragrant Fields collection.
