An Autumn Afternoon Punkie Parade!

Hey, hey! It’s Sarah of Sarah Jean Makes and I had the opportunity to play with the Autumn Afternoon collection by Heather Peterson. I was drawn to the rich reds, bright oranges, and warm yellows from the collection and I knew I had to do them justice. I opted to make my very first seasonal themed quilt pattern: Punkie Parade!

I loved the variety of prints in this collection, each giving a small nod to the season with a retro cool feel. I have to say that the Moroccan Tile print is probably my favorite! I used the Autumn orange colorway in the pumpkins and the Saffron yellow for the binding.

A closer look at the details of these fabrics – aren’t they just the cutest?! I love how the collection offers a selection of big, bold prints and simple, classic prints. And those tiny hexie’s as polka dots?! Perfection!
