Hello friends! It’s Sandy from Thai Charm llc, and I’m back to share about this beautiful collection “BloomBerry” by Minki Kim. If you love berries and hand-drawn florals, I have no doubt that you will fall in love with this collection.

I made a Stellar block using 2 fat quarters with 4-at-a-time flying geese method, and also made a matching table runner/bed runner using 6 fat quarters.

My Stellar Tote Bag Pattern includes the instructions to make below Stellar block and also step-by-step instructions to guide you through the whole process to make Stellar quilted tote bag. If you’re making a table runner/bed runner, you simply need to make (3) Stellar blocks. The runner finished size is 20 x 60 inches.

Once you make a Stellar tote bag, it’s time to quilt it. I decided to quilt mine with circular lines. The hand-quilting added so much textures to the block. I chose Perle thread size 8 for this to create big, chunky stitches.

I made (4) 10″ log cabin blocks for the back panel of the tote bag. Use the instructions in Stellar tote bag pattern to assemble your bag.

The tote bag measures 19″ wide x 30″ tall x 5″ deep. It’s a generous size that would easily hold all of your fresh produce from a trip to farmer’s market, or a trip to your local library.

For the runner, I chose Abacus for quilting design by Urban Elementz. The binding is Plaid Midnight from the same collection. I hope you enjoy this Stellar tote bag and matching runner as much as I do.
