Little Ghost Quilted Book Sleeve with Sophisticated Halloween

Hello friends! It’s Sandy from Thai Charm llc, and I am so excited to introduce you to a ghoulishly enchanted quilted book sleeve! Wrap your favorite books in style – because your favorite reads deserve a little extra love. I’m using fabrics from Sophisticated Halloween collection by My Mind’s Eye.

The original Fall Mini Quilt includes the instructions for 4″ block, I sized this up to 9″ finished block. Check out my full tutorial to scale up the block plus cutting instructions on my website.

Measure your book and add 2” to both the width and length, these will be the measurements for your book sleeve. For example, my book size is 8.5” x 11.5”, I have to cut all my pieces to be 10.5” x 13.5”.

Follow the instructions in the Fall mini quilt – Ghost Block, but omit BG19 pieces. My ghost block is 9.5″ x 9.5″ unfinished. So I have to add borders to make it to 10.5″ x 13.5″.

Tada! You’ve just finished your quilted book sleeve. Protect your favorite books and carry them in style wherever you go. It’s also a great gift idea for any book lovers in your life.
