Spring Barn Quilts and a Patchwork Project
Hey there, it’s Lesley Weedon from Quilts by Lesley and I am so excited to be here with Riley Blake Designs to chat with you about my latest make, the Holland Duffle using Tara Reed’s line, Spring Barn Quilts.
The words barn + quilts together naturally equalled patchwork in my brain and time-wise, I wasn’t sure I could pull off a whole quilt, but a duffle I could whip up in no time! If you have ever wanted to make a duffle but thought maybe it was too advanced, I’m here to tell you, if I can do it, you can too! I used this pattern and Kristina from Center Street Quilts writes thee most straightforward patterns, you will want them all after this one!
I’m a sucker for any and all fabric lines that have shades of aqua and and i just love how well they go with the pops of black, white, and red here. The cute windmill prints are an added bonus!
Thanks for checking out my Holland duffle! You can find Spring Barn Quilts by Tara Reed in quilt shops now!

I love this bag. Where were you able to find the webbing for the straps?
Lesley Weedon
I was able to purchase it at a fabric store local to me in Winnipeg, called Marshall fabrics. Alternatively you could use batting strips covered with fabric for the handles!
