Send with Love Quilt with Heirloom Red

Hey there! It’s Kelly Kirkland of Kelly Renay and I’m beyond thrilled to be sharing my new heart themed quilt pattern that features the stunning luscious rich reds from the Heirloom Red collection by My Mind’s Eye. The timeless, but modern, Heirloom Red collection paired perfectly with the Send with Love quilt pattern, which you can find by clicking here.

To showcase all the beautiful reds within Heirloom Red, I used twelve half yard cuts of the red and berry fabrics for the background fabrics on the Send with Love quilt. Those twelve red fabrics made a gorgeous scrappy appearance, which made the text bubble and hearts in the striking whites, from Heirloom Red, really pop. Featured here is the scrappy version of the Send with Love quilt pattern which includes two versions: modern and scrappy. Making a large throw sized quilt at 62″ x 72”, the Send with Love quilt pattern is skilled for a confident beginner and involves the stitch and flip method, along with chain piecing for the scrappy version.
